Does anyone remember the first time (after the WOC93 public races) that the WOC93 maps were used for public events? Was it the American Orienteering Roundup in 1996?

Hudson Highlander #1 (October 1995) used a color photocopy of a little piece of Surebridge (the part south of Rte. 106), and the trail run was on a B&W photocopy of Rockhouse.

Whether or not they were the first events, I can definitely say that the North American Roundup was one of the _best_ events I have been to in North America (the closest I have experienced to an O-Ringen on this continent) - it was an experience that really, really should be repeated soon!
