My name is Jourdan Harvey and I'm an Orienteer from NZ

I'm applying for a scholarship worth up to $10000 and one of the categories is people choice.
Its done by votes and who ever gets the most votes wins.

Hmm....help a Kiwi beat Australia (and some other inconsequential countries who aren't Australia) at a world championship event.....what's in it for us? :)
