Where were you hiking? I think you need to log it. If nothing else, then your log readers can enjoy it vicariously.

I don't think this matches the scale of your hikes, but the scenery was excellent. Bailey and I visited several parks in the Finger Lake region of NY while Sam was doing his orientation at Ithaca College. All the parks were focused on gorges going into one or another of the finger lakes--lots of waterfalls and such. My favorite was Watkins Glen--the waterfalls weren't as big as some other places, but it was just fun. Kind of like a real-life Disney ride.
The other day we spent hiking around Cornell (in case Bailey would like to go there some day). They have an excellent and large natural area called "Cornell Plantations" that we walked around, then took the 1.5hr "hike" that is the group info tour.

Sounds nice. I've heard that is a beautiful area for both hiking and biking but haven't been up there to explore.
