FIrst, it is not a race, so you don't have to do this. Like children and mortgages, it's optional. Second, if you are injured, aren't the results suspect? The injury could physically or mentally impede peak performance. So, you need to asterisk the results. Finally, there is the risk of aggravation. True, it may not happen, but it could, and for what? Do the time trial when you have no limitations. You can go all out without fear. |
