...you won't be doing any more foot O events either? They take up a fair bit of time.

Well, I probably won't travel as far for MTBO as I would for foot, especially when my mtb needs a good service (if not replacing), and I'm trying to get the Metro series up, map the Oz Sprint champs and manage a big school workload. Besides, I heard that (as I expected) the courses involved a lot of climbing and single track.

I'm trying to manage a family, hold down three jobs, pay the mortgage, hide from the Mafia, blah blah blah.

By the way, do you have any of those fast settling compasses in stock? I need one.

Can you afford one with a mortgage and family to support?

I have the Silva one in stock ($127.50), but also have Moscompass on order, maybe arriving this week, definitely by the State Champs - that has the steadiest needle of all. Model 2 is the fastest needle to settle, while model 3 is the steadiest while running (click on Catalog 2010 to view). Will be around $80 each.

$80 for the model 2 thumb? o_O

That's even cheaper than the last model you sold me, without the steadying needle. I'm sold!

Exact price will depend on the exchange rate - which is quite good at the moment. I've ordered 2 each of the left hand 2 and 3 thumb models, & one each of the right hand.

I only have one thumb on my left hand but I guess I'll make do.

Thanks for all your work on the upcoming Metro series too. Looks like some good locations, particularly that Woodlupine map. Should be a great event.
