hey, could you smell the paper mill? that town can smell when the wind is blowing the right way.

The Domtar mill closed around 2006. The city doesn't smell anymore. They've got some neat conversion projects of former industrial projects underway along the water.

I haven't been there in more than 10 years. It is good that the city no longer smells, but I hope people can still find good work out there.
