Discussion: Approximate navigation

I think blundering along with only a vague idea of where one's going is a great way to get to know an area better. I call it exploring; my dad calls it looking for shortcuts.

Other people have described it as 'getting lost', and 'not asking for directions' but that's just way too simplistic. I understand you, Ross.

I do know a lot more streets now than I used to :) Brothers unite!
