Traditionally, start is at 9am. Location of start is only revealed a few days before the event.

Yes, the details are kept in the vault of Late Night Productions Ltd. The 9 AM start is confirmed, with a 5 PM cut off for the last official finishers.

Yay! I can't wait! This year my goal is to take 8 hours. I think I can easily reach that goal given my training base.

Anyone interested in doing a little child care? It would be fun if both Nadim & I can participate.

Are there any 24 hour adventure races we can to the day before as a warm up?

Nick:
yeap. start in Canada

No, the Genesis is this time set as a warm-down a week later. And yes, you will have plenty of work to do, I am setting this course, too. With the surprises stored in the company vault of Alpine Power. As people know, I have a soft spot for witty spying about the courses, so go for it.

So for the Highlander, I recommend the adventure racers to follow the orienteers. For the Genesis, the orienteers should follow the adventure racers. The two race courses cross each other once and intersect with each other in other ways twice.

actually Bernie the day before is the Genesis AR sprint series final at Shephard lake in Ringwood, NJ. I will be there warming UP.

I forgot about the short Genesis series. Since it is a sprint race, Joe will still able to run this easy, straightforward Highlander.

I just sent out a mini bulldozer to have some new trails built. No more green stuff, we want some prairie here.

Peggy--I can probably accompany Glen as we're empty nesters this year. If I'm not needed on the course as a course marshall or aid station volunteer I could probably keep an eye on Max (unless you get another offer). It's been awhile since I had little ones, though... :-)

Janet, I of course would like to have you as a course marshall, this sounds like an excellent title.

On the other hand, I like to see Peggy and Nadim both doing the race, so Max comes first. Nadim and I teamed up well last year, even though he had more battery power left in the last round. This year I might have a little insider knowledge, since in about two hours (always after midnight) the vaults of Late Night Productions open up and the gremlins of the course setting team meet.
