Rosstopher: 3:06 is really very quick for 6x8s, Of course, I'm not sure what pace you were aiming for (I try to run that pace). Regardless... nice job on the track!

szurcher: yeah, well I wasn't sure what I *could* run 6 times. I was going off Sam's threshold workout from the week before, where she ran about 3.13, but I didn't know what that feels like so the first was a little too fast. I also want to build my speed up, so I thought it would be good to try to do them a little faster. Staying at one speed in particular was hard though. I would be happy with the pacing if I hadn't slowed down on the last one, this wasn't because I was too tired to go faster, I had let my mind wander... I find running on the track takes concentration, which means it's a great exercise for me. My biggest problem in orienteering is loosing concentration.
