All juniors (and their families) are invited to OCIN's TROL (Tristate Regional Orienteering League) Junior Day Camp on Saturday, November 27 at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
We will have a full day, mixing indoor classes with outdoor activities, with plenty of fun and food thrown into the mix.
The following day, November 28, will be the opening race in our TROL 2010-2011 league season, with a full range of courses from white thru red.

Current plan: Early morning will be a training session for beginners / first timers, followed by an easy course. This will be followed by a session on compass skills. The remainder of the day will be a combination of activities and short classroom sessions to improve intermediate and advanced skills and strategies. You are welcome to come for the entire day if you like, but those who have significant orienteering experience and good skills may skip the beginner portion if desired.
Fees: This will be free for TROL season pass holders. There will be a $10 fee for others. Please pre-register by sending name and email to Mike Minium. Payment on arrival is okay, but please let us know if you are coming so we can print appropriate numbers of maps, materials and food.

Also, OCIN is initiating fee reciprocity with all other North American school orienteering leagues. This means if you are a member of MOJO, WIOL, or COOL, you can also attend the training camp for free.
