I was in Fort Mac last mid December the day Edmonton was the 'coldest place on earth'. No fun at all I tell ya.

Though Calgary being 2nd coldest on Earth must be great publicity for those Calgary based so-called "friends of science" guys. More like non-science or nonsense (but you knew that).

Hopefully you have enough snow to ski. Is COP open?

Strack and I are attending a Oil Literacy documentry re: the tar sands. Interestingly its a documentary film by one of the Geography profs. Should be interesting. Curious who will be in the crowd for the show. Speaking of which, Carey in or out?

COP....what is that? But yeah it is open. Canmore Nordic is pretty nice. They were moving snow in the front sections on Banff trail yesterday but great conditions in the back 40 trails.

Sorry was being facetious. COP ain't that great for xc...don't downhill but suspect its riding on ice all season.
