Do you find yourself running around in circles a lot? Not at work as that goes without saying and cause is easily diagnosed - usually management. But trouble holding a compass bearing? Be careful at East Rock with all those cliffs to the side of the trail. Which side was the stronger? Be sure that's on the cliff side so you yaw away from them.

But really, consider joining a pilates class. They do some standard routines aimed at working those muscles, dirty dog they called one, but they do several types that all hammer those side bits, really great stuff.

Hee hee! Right side is way way stronger, but also the one that gets tight. Guess that follows if it's doing all the work.

Think you're right, something like pilates would be beneficial. Might have to get Marie to show me a few moves, not sure I can afford a class over the next few months.

The one most like the move you describe was called Tobago Thighs. It was supposed to get us ready to wear our thongs at the beach. Didn't work so we switched classes;-}

The move had you lie on your side and then lift the other leg in various moves: up and down, up and then touch your knee with your toe, fore and back and on and on. Then repeat on the other side. Should get you going and ready for the beach.

one of the studio in Wooster Sq had free passes recently (might still be online, I'll try to find it if you're interested). I went between Xmas and New Year when the Yale gym was closed and they were ok, and they had pilates classes.
