This only seems to happen once or twice a year, thank goodness. Wait until this afternoon when it rains more, and all the drains are blocked up so all the pavements become ice-troughs with an inch or two of icy water in them and the cars spray the stuff everywhere. That's my truly favourite weather. Then tomorrow it'll be all frozen solid again. Take me back to Rochester where it was 8F and still...
Eurgh! Miserable! I want to go home now please...
Great effort but need o-shoes with dobs for the ice. Have to come up to our winter wonderland, just finished clearing 4-5" of sugary snow though a hint of crust starting to form from a little bit of sleet. Rain yet to come and will nicely crust things.
Yes. Rob was supposed to bring them with him after I left them in the car in my hurry to escape Scotland. He forgot, so I am well and truly dobless.
Get some of these:

Work great and slip on/off when going to and from pavement. Fold up small enough to slip into a pocket.
It's doing that here now and I wimped out and did not run in it. I'm impressed that you got out. Running in 34°F and rain is so not my favorite :( So good for you!
Wow. You really weren't joking, were you unpronunciation?! I don't want to go back out there! But Trivia night calls!
We won money at Trivia! Yey!
Rob would like to point out that it wasn't enough to come to California though.
You don't think 6$ would do it?
Maybe if we all clubbed together...
surely $6 eqauls 12 big macs, then all you need to do is jump a rail car - hoboe style
The rail cars are a bit big and scary round here. I think I'll need some serious plyometrics before jumping is in order!
