What does the "o" in "Tech4o" stand for? Doesn't look like it would be "orienteering".

"Tech4o is dedicated to developing smart new products with the latest technology to enhance your experience. Feel the adventure with Tech4o's products for outdoor exploration and personal performance measurement. Boundaries are broken, your soul is set free, and the pursuit is greater with Tech4o."

That's from their website. My guess would be o stands for outdoors as in "Technology for the outdoors"

And also, a great concept to have a year-end awards giving. It's nice to showcase the best! kudos to the group that originated the idea and carried it out.

Cangrats to all. And I am glad OUSA has done this and will continue to do so.

Boris gets the credit for the inspiration and energy in making it happen (and the rounding up of sponsors), and Peter Goodwin gets credit for shepherding it through to completion (and he should get credit for many other good things he is doing as VP-Competition).

As a member of the committee, I'll just say that it was great to see so many really deserving candidates. The ones we chose, both individual and team, were exceptional, and it's nice to see some recognition for what they did.

And it's good to know that this will be an annual set of awards.

Very nice! And how fitting for an astronomer to win the first Comet of the Year award. And whose travels in the northern hemisphere seem about as far-flung:-).

Boy, I never related the astronomer and the comet!
