One of these days we're going to find ourselves speaking at the same conference (or better still on the same current-affairs program). I think there was one occasion a while back when you were on AM and I was on The World Today on the same day. By the way, the tie's the one I keep in the drawer at work for emergencies (like unexpected TV interviews). You'd never catch a scientist wearing a tie in day-to-day life. |

I think a big conference on the impact of drought on rural communities would be the big chance. Given what's coming in the MDB, its on the cards I'd say. Everyone north of the divide is pretty keyed up about the water issues. |
