Joe: not easy to do. I have back to back 12 hour and 6 hour races this weekend, then the duO the next weekend. I will go to the gym or pool to give my ankle some rest during the week.

piutepro: Should I add some juicy swamp or lake passages to cool down the ankle from time to time? Actually a lot of the course will use trails, even some really fast jeep trails. But there is some part in the south with a good bush wacking section, not mountain laurel, but certainly shorter is better there.

Joe: I hope to make time on the other EMS team on the O section. hopefully it is not too easy. I will wear the active ankle for the trek and paddle sections. it is not strong enough even with taping.

piutepro: The toughness increases, don't think it is too easy when you see the beginning. The last section is so tough I am fearing to lose too many teams. You need to have a good intuitive sense of what you are doing. Plus some good endurance on the trails. But if someone gets lost in this particular section of Harriman, better not.
