It seems BGR wants an email if you are going to compete.
Also, the rogaine may not be pure. There might be some regular orienteering coursework thrown in.
Black River State Forest 50/50 Event Update
Anyone planning on attending the 50/50 Rogaine on April 2nd should let me know at kevin(at)chorus(dot)net. Preregistration isn't required, but I would like to have an estimate of how many teams are coming. If you don't contact me you may still participate, but if you can let me know ahead of time that would be appreciated.
The event will consist of roughly 12K of orienteering and the rest will be on a USGS topo in usual rogaine style.
The regular club event will start 1 hour after the rogaine and will offer 2 6K courses. You can do one or both. Regular club prices per course will apply. One course will be on a new map that I made last year. The second course will be on the Wildcat Mound map which has been used a couple times previously. Both areas are very nice. You will have a great time running in these woods!
