Get rid of it if it doesn't perform reliably. But before you toss it, why not try using some of this on the contact belt? Remember when you got your EKG? This is the stuff they put on the body contact sensors. It is also recommended for use with HR monitors.

cool, I will look into this. It is reliable but after the sweat make good contact.

Mine and others do the same thing, take a look at the tracks on A! It may be do to poor contact, and maybe the goo would help. I just know the first few minutes are unreliable and ignore the data.
