Whatever happened to the "events near me" sort of filtering?

I'd like to see:
- all the local events within 120 miles
- all the regional events within 180 miles
- all the national events within 300 miles

If I'm looking at the local filter, it's local around the map...

Doesn't it show that stuff by enlarging the font of nearby events?

If you go to http://www.attackpoint.org/events.jsp and choose the Events Map link at the top (and have your location entered) you can see where events are near you.

I was looking for just the events I wanted to see - I didn't want to see local events from beyond a certain radius - even in a tiny font;-)

Janet had it - I had seen the map page, but didn't realize the listings below were trimmed to only those events fitting on the map.

So I can have a large area on the map and see the world and national events, and then zoom in for the regional and then local. That works fine - thanks!

Cool! Thanks for asking that question and following up with the zooming part. I didn't look below the map when Janet posted the link, so I didn't see the list.

My favourite bit is zooming to the area I want in the map, then using the iCal link below the map to load the list into Outlook - then it'll auto-update with any events that get added in that area. Very, very cool bit of functionality.

Wow, all those rogaines within 3km of home. My house must be on all the maps - maybe I'll enter a couple of them.

Wow, that's really cool! How about a start/end date slider right below the map so you can filter by time period? (not that I'm complaining...)
