Dude, I wrote the same tests on Saturday, the Situational Judgement ones are awesome. My favourite ones were the ones that offered the choice of "do nothing."
That one about the taxi driver and your boss discussing sensitive matters in the back seat has been around forever. What did you say for that one?

Thats funny! Yeah i actually find them a hoot, like little brain teasers. I think i choose change the try to change the topic as the most effective response. I figured that the rest were too confrontational for the situation.

Looking for a new job already?

Which ones did you apply for?
Change the topic is the correct answer, and yes, do nothing was the least effective one.
I'm only out here on contract until the summer, not sure after that...
Another winner was the question about working on a group project and the rest of the group tell you that you're working too hard and will make them look bad. What do you do?
1) Work less to match their effect level.

Super:
in your example the correct answer is E, all of the above. Now THAT'S effective...

I haven't ever done one of these tests and I've been in government for years. I guess situational judgement is not required in the OPS. So go fuck yourselves, I mean - want to go out for a run sometime?

Reminds me of the WHMIS test I had to take in first year engineering...

QUESTION:
How do you dispose of lightly contaminated ethidium bromide?

POSSIBLE ANSWERS:
1. Pour it down the drain
2. Burn it
3. Dispose of it in the lightly contaminated ethidium collector unit
4. Drink it

Common... how stupid do they think we are!! ...you drink it of course!

WHMIS, now that is a joke test. I had to retake one in my first year of masters with one of Mike's PDF for work safety. He was confused on a few questions and looked over at mine for the answers...i had to chuckle because he was a cheating PhD;)

Nev, i applied to a whole bunch from parks canada to the canadian assessment agency mostly degree related.
