fell: do you think it's suitable for a first time mtb-oer to enter the vic champs?

#  Posted 2006-10-25 13:02:51
TheInvisibleLog: Careful. If you do it once you can never again claim to have never done it.

#  Posted 2006-10-25 13:17:07
fell: nuh, I don't think I'll be able to do it, after all, I don't own a map board.

#  Posted 2006-10-25 13:41:08
.: hahahaa yeh sure jim.. i hear a 40 year old did 9.14 down the track last nite pretty slick.. rob bryan has a map board u should ask him

#  Posted 2006-10-25 13:53:22
Disco: Rob, I think that you should be more worried about being excommunicated from your family.

#  Posted 2006-10-25 14:07:46
Uncle JiM: Fell, you dont need a map board, hold it in your hand, its a little harder to keep contact on the map, so you use map memory a lot more

#  Posted 2006-10-25 14:18:06
Toph: yeah i dont think i have ever used a map board, thats unless i rode someone elses bike and i dont remember it. so u dont need one at all... i usually end up folding it and then rolling it half way round the handle bar underneath my hand.

#  Posted 2006-10-25 14:44:04
