Certainly speaks to your fitness, but are you sure you as out of tune for O as you claim????:) Thanks for setting the bar...its nice to have someone local to inspire us.
Much as I enjoyed the course, there wasn't much in the way of nav after 5. Everything after that had pretty obvious handrails and/or collecting features. Even on 1-5, there were safe routes available (and I took them). Don't get me wrong, I think that setting a physically challenging course that rewards folks who can increase their pace to match the technical difficulty is a perfectly fine test. I just don't think I would be able to run anywhere near that hard on a "true" red course without making some huge mistakes.
And, if one (or both) of you would put your splits in, we'd have an AP-rankable event with an out-of-towner (Erin) to help normalize the results.
