Discussion: Column about Ali in PXJ

Nancy Haggerty writes periodically about orienteering and has done some orienteering herself. This is a nice way to keep orienteering in the press.

This week she interviewed Ali Crocker in her outdoors column.

And thanks piutepro for giving her the lead. =) Although didn't mean to be quite as negative about Boy Scouts orienteering as that quote says, was just trying to explain what orienteering actually involves!

I didn't know you were a competitive rower too. Did you not tell her about your bpg-snorkeling past, or did it get cut in the editing?

Did somebody say bog snorkling? As a peat hydrologist I'm proud to say that one of my current postdoctoral fellows came top ten in the World Bog Snorkling Champs in Wales a few years back. ;-)
