Also, way to beat Jess - I have to say, even on a bike, I wouldn't have predicted it... =). Also, I'm surprised she didn't do her usual frontrunning thing, maybe bikes add enough equipment that she can't just blast off the front the way she does in running/skiing races...

I think we figured that she lost a minute in the bottleneck going into the singletrack at the start, and that was the difference in our times. Next time she is going to start faster and beat me...

Alex, it's the mass start problem! I can't seem to get a good position in those kinda races. I need to be more pushy!
