I grew quite fond of the 10-hour forecast option on weather.com, which had my location once I typed in the nearest town name (much to my surprise). The coolest time of the day was usually 0200-0300 (sunup was 0445 for much of the summer), with +3 degrees / hour after sunrise. Very helpful in planning runs, I actually did a half marathon and a number of 10 milers for practice and in races with 90+ degree weather by planning my start time carefully.

And I prestaged a couple of water bottles at the halfway point the night before, too.
