| ginger: | Bummer about getting rolled a class! At least it's only a few weeks, it could be worse. oh, and 2 flights! whee! |

| ebuckley: | You'd better stay in class or you'll wind up stuck in Iraq! |

| Cristina: | Being bumped into the next class is actually pretty neat. Aside from potentially having a lot of free time to tool around NM, it also means that I will actually have other rescue crew in my clas (which is the reason that they're doing this - I was the only HC-130 flyer in the class). And, since I have already done the first two weeks (and aced my exam this afternoon), I have a good head start. w00t.
And, unfortunately, I couldn't find my backup pair of glasses, so flyer's BCGs it is! Saw the Borat movie with them, but I'm in SF and it was the Borat movie, so I'm sure no one even batted an eye at them. |

| Wyatt: | With the help of Google & their definitions source, I try to keep up with American slang. Trying to follow some Aussie comment threads has been completely impossible. |

| jjcote: | Well, I knew what it meant from hanging around with Swampfox (Peter recently posted a picture of him wearing them when he was a cadet). Speaking of which, where's the picture of Cristina in Cali wearing her Bandaranayaka college gampaha? Hmm? |

| Cristina: | Well, I'm lucky. The Air Force is nicer to flyers than to basic training graduates. Their BCGs are truly horrid:
AF aviators get something much more mild. I think I successfully avoided a camera all weekend, so you'll have to look for witnesses instead. I'm going to try to get new "normal" glasses this week, but it might not happen... which means you'll all get a chance to see them this weekend! |
