happily my price seems to have put her off - first I said I wasn't making cakes at the moment, then I got the desperate story, then I gave her names of other cake makers, then she rang them, then she rang back saying she would pay 'anything' so I said ok and gave her a regular price, and that put her off sufficiently for me to enjoy the rest of my run in peace. normally I'd never even have my phone with me but because I've been listening to the radio through it's tuner I have been caught out!

Has she called back? Her story had to be true. Who could possibly make up something like that?
