JP went out determined to demonstrate the virtues of being born with near-Swedish (that is to say, Norwegian) blood, and returned in first position. When informed he had won, JP's immediate response was to wonder if he had skipped a control or even multiple controls, which he hadn't. His second reaction: "If only my girlfriend could see me now!"
