NOD 2012 has not been "officially" set yet, but it has traditionally been the 2nd or 3rd weekend in September.
One of the goals in the Strategic Plan is to "Review, revise, embrace, and expand National Orienteering Day". I will be working on this in the coming months.
Right now, we are looking for volunteers at the national level to help expand NOD. If you are interested in helping to reach this Strategic Plan goal, give me a holler.
