Maryann: Great job, Alison! Only Angelica could beat you! And you thought you weren't up to the mental challenge on Sunday. :-) As for the contours, I had a 1:10 map on Green and I thought the hills looked a whole lot flatter on the map than they were in the terrain. A whole lot flatter!

Acampbell: yeah that really messed me up but the bright side is i found out i need some hill training. stair master is now down of the first floor so maybe i should start doing that for about 20 mins a day that might help. Before i went out people were saying that i should do green. I'm glad i didn't and congrates to you for finishing it!!

Wyatt: I didn't realize that was your first Brown course. Nicely done!

You were even complaining on course about how hard it was - I was thinking you'd have had 10's of minutes of issues, but rather it was a few 1-3 minute mistakes. Not bad at all - and good to see you're annoyed at those 1-3 minute mistakes and motivated to get rid of them!

Acampbell: yeah i am motivated to get rid of them because they were stupid mistakes!!!! Like i was right there and if i had just moved a little further up i would have seen it and saved at lest 1 or 2 mins on that. Because sadly that happen to me at almost every control. then If i had been able to read the map better i would not have picked such hilly bad route chouses (now i working on running hills more as well)

Wyatt: Not being able to see the bags last weekend wasn't entirely your fault. They were tucked away a long more than normal (see j-man's log). j-man, speedy & I all lost time really close to the bag, but not quite sure where it was due to the controversially well hidden nature of the bags.

I never totally bailed, so I only lost a few second at a time, but I think j-man & speedy each lost 30+ seconds on at least one bag each due to the difficulty of seeing the bag.

Acampbell: oh ok that makes me feel much better that i wasn't the only one not able to see the bag when i was so close. I felt so stupid turning around in circles and then when i found it and i was turning in circles looking about 10 or 11 feet away from it.
