Is 168 the highest HR you have seen on the bike?
Tom, I went back and checked both spin and road HR's for this last summer and yes 168 is the highest I've seen.
Do you feel that you were at your max? In other words, if someone was chasing you with a gun, could you have gone even a little harder?
Tom, for the 20 minute ride it was my legs that I struggled with. Could I have harder probably for short bursts but not sustained.
Tom, is there a basic rule of thumb for this WATTS thing. ie to ride a 7% graded hill at 6mph and weighing 185 lbs one needs to be able to generate and maintain x Wattage?
I really need some info to understand where I need to go... ie goals.
