I noticed you have that written on the map - was it actually at 1:7500? How did I miss that when setting the course? gah.

Also, sorry you guys didn't get control descriptions - I made some up, but should have put them on the map to make sure that they actually got out to the runners. Next time.

No problem either item. Just go to the center of the circle (eventually sometimes).

Alex, thanks for setting those up - very enjoyable for the girls & I - up until the rain started and we bailed. But we weren't planning on doing the whole thing anyway...

Oh yeah, didn't mention Alex- so when I printed, it printed at 1,7,500, or approx that, but probably not your fault, probably the guy at the print shop hit scale to page or something silly and my eyes are not yet expert enough to identify that immediately apparently... Also my fault on control descriptions, you totally sent, but the way you did it there was only 1 per page, which seemed like a major waste of paper + money, can OCAD put multiple ones on 1 page? If so, that'd be a way better way to do them!

There are certainly ways to do multiple control descriptions on a page. The easiest (assuming you're using 0CAD course setting) is probably to go to Preview mode, drag a box around the control descriptions, and hit Edit->Copy. Then create a new map (in normal mode, not course setting) and Edit->Paste in as many copies as you like. For meets with multiple courses, this also lets you create a page with one copy of each set of control descriptions.

ya, should have done what JJ suggests there, but I was kind of rushed, unfortunately.

Sorry about the 1:75000 thing... that may very well be me messing up the print setting or something as much as the print shop guy. But, it is nicer to read =).

Glad you had fun, Clint!

Hey, stop apologizing. We had a fine time, got out to do some O when we wouldn't have otherwise, survived a cold drenching rainstorm which gave a good excuse to save the downhill slalom for another day. Thanks for setting it up.

And we haven't found a single thing you left here, how about that? :-)
