Although I haven't fully made my mind up on it yet, interesting to see how divided opinion on it is though.

Just to annoy you even more, I think you've just missed them play your corner of the states :( I'm seeing them play 10 mins from my flat in December in a pretty small venue :)

Thing is, there is really no corner. NYC is too far for a weeknight (2 hours in then up to an extra hour to get to wherever stuff is) and New Haven is utterly dead! Then people really good all play NYC when I'm in Canada. Damn them.
