We did this for the short course champs with reasonable accuracy, so let's try for the Relay Champs. Boris' picks:
1. DVOA (Sergei Zhyk is damn fast.)
2. OK (Always consistent)
3. CSU (Plagued by injuries again.)
UNO and a few others as dark horses...

It's easy to pick the top 5 but I'm having a hard time picking the exact order. DVOA, while stellar on all legs but one, will have quite a task after the second interchange. Cascade probably has the best anchor runner but I'm not sure about their leg 3 in Vermont terrain. The consistency of OK may carry them through, and Spike's well-publicized injuries may not be as much of an obstacle as suspected, but Mook's shape is a mystery to the curious observer. I'm not quite sure what CSU's injuries are besides Kenny's back, and if none more, CSU is my favorite. UNO has no good anchor—maybe Erin is best for that? So, based on the information I have (which may not be the best publicly available info), here are the picks.

1. CSU
2. DVOA
2. Cascade
4. OK
5. UNO

And here's how it could then go between those five... UNO comes in the lead after leg 1 (Dunham passes the crowd in the chute) with DVOA just behind (Greg or Randy), CSU (Ross or bomfunk) tied with Cusworth, and Meenehan a few minutes back.

After the second leg, UNO (Ernst?) is still in the lead. CSU (Zan or Karen) is just a couple of minutes back and OK (Peggy) makes up time, while Cascade (Jennifer Knowles) and DVOA (Sandy Fillebrown?) drop back.

On the third leg, CSU (Kenny or Ross) moves into the lead over UNO's Alar (or Erin), while DVOA's efforts (Greg or Randy) bring them up to third. Spike has a solid run and is just a bit back. Cascade is in some trouble, passed by a few other clubs as well.

Boris starts the anchor leg for CSU and is alone for all of it. Sergei pulls together a heroic effort but the gap after the third leg is just too much. Eric has some people to follow in the beginning, gains speed and passes Mook to give Cascade third place.

(Of course, this is all pure speculation, but I get points if it does happen this way.)

Wow , I like it, Vlad. Can we just keep it this way and not actually race? :)

You didn't nail it, Vlad, but you did pretty well!

Cascade just shot themselves in their respective feet by reshuffling their running order. They were out of the game by the middle of their first leg, and it only kept getting worse. That and the remarkable HVO showing...
