You are invited to the first event in the 2012 Ottawa Ski-Orienteering series, on Sunday 8-Jan at Riverfront Park (the Y-Camp), 1730 SIXTH LINE RD, in Kanata.

Registration opens at 10:00AM, Start from 10:30AM.
The course lengths are approximately 7km, 5km and 3km. The map scale is 1:5,000.
The area has a dense groomed ski-trail network maintained by the Kanata Nordic Ski Club. On Thursday night the trails had full snow coverage and excellent skiing. The area is generally flat without difficult hills and suitable for beginner skiers.
This winter OOC are putting on a series of five Ski-O events:
Sun Jan 8 Riverfront Park, Kanata
Sat Jan 21 Keogan’s Lodge, Gatineau Park
Sat Jan 29 Nepean Sportsplex,
Sun Feb 12 Deep River
Sat Mar 3 Nakkertok Ski Club
Participate in all and rack up the points.
