Not an enormous amount of snow, although a few inches accumulated on Thursday and Friday. Certainly didn't need snowshoes on Centennial Ridges, although there were some older tracks. Planning a trip?
Always interested in knowing where the snow is good! I noticed some nearby rental cottages that accept dogs so it could work as a rare family trip for us some time.
I highly recommend the Adventure Lodge in Whitney. Cheesey name, but very cozy log cabins with breakfast/dinner included in the package. The people next door had a dog, so I'm fairly certain that it's pet-friendly.
Thanks - that's a nice location! I'll check their rules. A lot of pet-friendly places have "one dog only", "dog must be under 25 lb" or "can't leave dogs in the cabin if you're not there" policies. With two 70 lb Labs we'd like to leave alone in our cabin once in awhile, we are a lodge owner's nightmare!
