| Terry: | How is the WeGo cutting/sanding coming along? I'd like to spend some Anza Borrego time assembling the things. Picture: leaning against the shady side of Peg Davis' car, enjoying scintillating conversation with Peg, occasionally digging into a crumb-topped apple pie, and building towline after towline.
I worked on the port to Drupal today. It's slow going to get the final details right. I read some about CSS vs. tables. There are still plenty of table supporters. But my bottom line conclusion is that it is very complicated to get a complicated layout to load fast and look right in multiple browsers. Therefore it's best for us amateurs to stick to simple layouts. Good-bye boxes-within-boxes a la 2006 Street Scramble website. I had a really nice walk with Shaila this morning, and a nice chat with Rosemary this evening. When she grows up she plans to buy property in Kirkland where she can have horses, dogs, and cats, yet still be close in. And, of course, she'd have children. |

Shaila or Rosemary? ;-) I've cut all the tubing into lengths, but there was very little of the middle weight stuff. I sanded a couple beads in the car, but I didn't persist with that task, because I decided it would be much more efficient to use the Dremel tool. |
