With Round 1 of the Ski-O World Cup complete, US women fared exceptionally well, with Ali Crocker 6th overall in World Cup standings with 98 points and Alex Jospe 13th with 71 points.
Competition in Lake Tahoe continues this weekend with the US Middle Championships Saturday and Sprint Championships Sunday. These are World Ranking events and many of the World Cup teams remain for the races.
On the men's side Adrian Owens jumped in World Ranking to 111 on strong showings so far this week.
