I hate trail runs in courses, because I know I'm so much slower than everyone else. Were you able to jog these, or did you have to hike? Still, it is always nice to be out orienteering.
I jogged very little especially in the beginning and that's when most of the trail runs were. Knowing I was doing a Red course I didn't bother to warm up since I knew I wouldn't be running the whole thing anyway and the plan was to use the first few controls to warm up. Guess that backfired on me! Towards the end I was more warmed up and did jog some both in the woods and on the trails. But my overall lack of fitness showed and I couldn't jog for very long at a time.
