Congratulations. Great work - very impressive. The course is a bit slower at the end nowadays but it used to be longer in the beginning with a run into Arthur's Pass village, around the back somewhere and onto the current route. I'm sure you'll be able to improve even more with another years training in them legs and prove you are indeed the fastest ever Avalanche Peak Race runner.

Thanks! Its is a really cool course, heaps of variation and lots of rough ground to cover ideal for orienteers.

I think now I know that time is within reach I can definitely go faster :)

Cheers Jamie, yep I think I will need a pacemaker next year so I can nail this course record good and proper :)
