'Bent: You guys would have been much happier even if you had some grip wax on your skate skis. I'd have given you some, even if it meant you might have beaten us. Just ask Dr. Gadget- I had it all there.

Leanimal: The sad thing is I didn't even know you could do that - that lets you know how rookie we are on the skis!

'Bent: You'll be pros after Sunday's ski-fest at Hardwood.

Bash: Or Friday afternoon. We'll probably go both days. Hope you and Phatty can make it for one or the other. You'll learn to love skiing one of these days - really!

Tiny: What!!!! You'll go skiing with them, but when I suggest a day of skiing you laugh in my face? :)

#  Posted 2007-01-24 23:31:26
Leanimal: I can't see them laughing in your face Tiny, maybe they just snickered.

I'll likely join you both days since I could use the work!

'Bent: Who's laughing here? We're always up for a ski.

Bash: Leanimal, are you sure that it wasn't you or Phatty who laughed in Tiny's face? I don't think 'Bent or I have ever face-laughed anyone regarding a day of skiing. For that matter, we're not even tall enough to laugh in Tiny's face.

Anyway, that's awesome - we'll figure out details by e-mail. If you and Phatty come to Hardwood after the Thomass on Sunday, we'll be up to 5 people in the van, with 2 seats left to rent out.

Leanimal: It does sound more like something Phatty or I would do (laughing in someones face) and Phatty could actually do that with Tim's height but it definitely wasn't me. I am happy to ski with anyone who will wait for me!!!!

Bash: I'm betting it was Phatty then. The two of you aren't habitual face-laughers, but I know that skiing has some bad associations for you. We are more likely to laugh in someone's face over snowboarding, paddling class IV rapids or downhill mountain biking, i.e. the things that secretly scare the crap out of us.
