That's about the middle of the area to be. At this point, the map is of the Hemlock Hills section and just working into the Wooster part you were at your 4k mark. From 2009 The plan is to go all the way to Rt 7. As you say - really nice woods and terrain.
You went up to/and along the ridge on the Ives Trail that Rick laid out all the way through Tarrywile and beyond.
There is also a map of the area S of Bennett Pond to where you parked.

That's seriously cool. There was an info board about halfway along about the Ives trail, and the maps on there looked like Rick's handy work.

It's going to be a great area! Would like to run even on that map you've posted - any reason why it's not been used for a while?

Rick's been busy. If he could get rid of that part time school thing, he could get back to the important stuff.

We spent a couple days working with him on the trail along the ridge and over to Rt 7. All great stuff. Just need to climb up to the ridge. And parking can be an issue.

Hmmm...I was thinking I still have to properly decide on a venue for the Fall B meet....what's already there would be plenty big enough. But yup, if parking is an issue, I guess that's no good.

That was tossed around. Contact Rick/Susie and ask.

We have been using the park by Lake Windwing or the school further south.

Yeah, it's a pretty average swamp actually. But the rest is great!
