| O Steve!: | I had on 3/4 layers and it worked quite well....actually I wasnt really cold despite the -15F temps...I dressed right....also, I think the wind was primarily at our backs and that helped...I love the idea of skiing to Uptown....Kari and I were all set to do the Luminary loppet the night before but punted due to the cold temps....a good decision....it would have been hard to think about going back out there the next morning...looks like lots of people stayed home....seems the overall participation was down significantly due to the cold....which is understandable...I would love this race to catch a break and have plenty of snow and good weather...its our best chance of attracting 2000+ skiers and make the sport visible....every year has been a challenge..... |
