Let's wait for the splits, but I think (my memory of what the race director told us) you lost 20 minutes on the road bike (we made a little mistake of our own, smaller than yours though), 10 minutes on the first O course and 15 on the second. Then you gained back 3 on the rappel wait time and 15 on the mtb course. Hope your hips are ok! And nice race; it was good to travel together on the paddle for a while and then again on the mtb for a while.

The first (urban) section was very fast! My HR was in the 170s for some time (whereas on day 2 I averaged 135). I'm not sure where we passed you, actually - we were behind you coming away from Carpenters' Hall, then lost a minute with a dumb error at the Constitution building, but we must have passed you in the streets on the way to CP4 or else going a different way back around the art museum to the TA.

Yeah, we goofed on 16 of the first O section, maybe 5-10 minutes. The second map was all clean but I was just not moving very well. Very frustrating since I'm in, what I would consider, very good running shape. I've been having some issues with the left side of my Sacrum. Chiropractor worked on me a few times last week and I thought it would be ok for the race, but obviously not. I'm not sure how much faster we would have run on the O, had I felt better, and whether it would have been enough time for the win. Props to Erin for carrying my pack for me through most of the O course, and for being strong the entire race.

As for the Urban O in the begining, there was indeed some moments of increaseed HR. We started heading towards the left side of the museum on the home stretch and had to manuver back around to get on the right track. That's where you got ahead. We could see you running couple of hundred meters ahead of us on the way back.

You guys had a great race and would have been tough to beat even with a bit of luck on our side.
