BorisGr: Are you coming to O-Ringen? If not, what summer races are you thinking of doing? Am trying to figure out how to plan the time before WOC, given certain constraints...

szurcher: My travel, racing and training schedule looks like this:

-- Ultralong Swedish Champs April 1st
-- OK Tyr training camp 21.-29.04 + Tiomila, then to VeVe Finland for a week.
-- WC Finland + Jukola + WC Norway (I don't know what to do in between)
-- O Ringen yes, staying with Swiss Team, arriving on 21.07.
-- WOC ??
-- WC Swissland 6.-7.10
-- Training camp Czech Rep 8.-12.10 (anyone else??)

More details in an email, questions like, can I stay at your place, etc are coming :-)

BorisGr: Sounds good!
I will unfortunately be flying to England with Kat on March 30, so I won't be around for the Ultralong champs. (Too bad, i'd love to run them!) When are you flying in for that?
Also, you are welcome to come here after Jukola for a few days if you want!!

szurcher: I am flying into Stockholm on Saturday the 30.3, flying out on Monday. I was hoping to stay with you Sunday night, but I guess you won't be in Uppsala huh!?! I will ask Zan if I can stay with her. Is your club going doing to the Ultralong champs? Zan?

#  Posted 2007-02-07 14:57:15
BorisGr: The club won't go - it's too far away, but I bet a number of people from the club will go, and i bet you can go with them. I can fix it for you.

Suzanne: Of course you can stay with me! I don't know if I'm going to the ultra long (seeing as I don't actually have a plan for this season at all) but I would love for you to stay here that Sunday night!

szurcher: Thanks guys! I will write you both an email soon. Tomorrow is moving day, which means our lives will be a little crazy for the next few days before we get things out of boxes.

Cristina: Hm, looks like there's just way too much fun being planned in this thread. I might just have to schedule a trip to crash a party or two.

#  Posted 2007-02-08 07:56:51
Samantha: yeah, I was just thinking the same thing.

#  Posted 2007-02-08 13:30:42
BorisGr: Woohoo, come on over!!!

#  Posted 2007-02-08 15:31:50
Suzanne: yay! Definitely come!

#  Posted 2007-02-08 20:30:51
Cristina: In all seriousness, if you guys had to plan one single trip (10-14 days-ish?) around a big European event (or events), which would it be? I've got to start planning my sales pitch to my new commander.

jtorranc: The Ukraine out? For all you know, the Daniels program will work wonders. For sheer number of races you could pack in, doing the French and Italian 5 days would be very efficient. Or you could max out on WREs by going to Oringen and then heading down to the Balkans - I assume it's possible to get from Sweden to Slovenia fast enough.
