Yeah, this works. The main trick is:

If you transfer data to one computer, you cannot transfer it to a second computer unless you add new data or "force send" data. The second computer will not detect the device until it has new data or detects the device has "force send" set.

Yes it is imperative that you be able to transfer to more than one computer because after a while it will inevitably stop working on one computer, closely followed by the other one.

Must be a WA thing, no such problems over here in NSW! Only issue I have is that I can't login to Garmin Connect using IE but have no problem with either Firefox or Chrome on the same machine.

Mine works fine. Except when I tried to use my ant to download from tRicky's watch. I'd say it's a tRicky thing.

I have also never been able to use the ant+ to download from tRicky's watch.

Need to be within 3m. Maybe we could try it over Skype?
