There were 71 M21s at the Classic Champs last year. 38 is a below-average turnout if you look at the statistic of the last 2 years.

Oops, rooky mistake. We don't get much more than 38 for all of our advanced courses together here in TX, so it sounded like a lot to me. I never imagined 38 on blue much less 71.

It should be noted that last year was also US Team trials. I don't know if that helped attendance any, but it couldn't hurt. Also there are still a few days left to register. The field could grow some more.

I ran Blue last year but will run my age group this year. I noticed that Eglinski and Balter are doing the same thing.

Last year the US Champs were much closer to Canada, that surely helped the attendance.
