DARTvg: Best 50K you've done.!.! That is saying a lot isn't it. What was it that made it the best? Terrain, course, elements, time?

roschi: Its an incredible course, all single track and some actual scrambles, the views are superb (there is a veiwpoint like poopoo point with a takeoff pad where you can see all the islands, inlets, etc), and the climbs are the toughest which i love!

DARTvg: very cool! Glad you enjoyed it.

FrankTheTank: Sounds pretty sweet. Would you recommend it for a first time 50k. I need a good one to break into the ultra scene...

Hey my partner is going to be gone for the cell-phone-O this weekend, you want to be my team-mate? I can bring 2-way radios...

roschi: I wanted to do that one but need to do a long bike ride and since DART is training at Cap Forest that is perfect training for me, we ll hopefully do the 50 miler as planned.... sorry.
About the 50k, yes, its perfect for a 1st one... a lot of elevation gain but the ground is super soft so its easier on the joints... additionally you ll be so mesmerized by the trails and the views you ll forget all about how long the run is :)
Tamara Armstrong from the MountainMaidens did the 50k, it was her first and she finished in an amazing 7h16!
