Yeah, MadCity will be a good time. Let me know if you need any transportation, etc..

Good luck at the race tomorrow. 9km... now that's an arbitrary race distance. I have been kind of just cruising these last two weeks before getting back into workouts.

I will let you know when the 100k gets closer but I might take you up on your offer. I decided to skip the race tomorrow, I don't feel like driving. Good luck this weekend.

i hear ya man, I feel a lot better now when I don't race as much. It is nice to use them as workouts, but sometimes you wake up after a week of work and just want to ease into the morning run and not have to drive your ass off, pay a fee, bumble around in the cold, then drive home all the time. Yeah, my good friend has a house just outside of Madison. If you are interested, my dad, girlfriend and I could pick you up at Minneapolis airport. Only a little over 3 hour drive to Madison all 80 mph freeway, so it is relaxing. Stay at his house. He has lots of room. Anyway, we can talk more as the time gets closer. Trying to figure out my race schedule for next year. For sure MadCity 100km in the spring and Milwaukee Lakefront marathon in the fall and some workout races in-between. A 50km in February on a rails to trail just up north here, and some shorter ones in the cities just to mix it up leading to MadCity.

Sounds great, we can figure things out when it gets closer. I am not sure what I will be up to when the race comes. We might just drive out there because we are talking about heading to Alaska and Canada after the race.
