outthere: Just a person tryng to encourage a fellow athlete...I walk because my legs can only take 50 to 60 miles per week of running and to practice map reading and to work in rough terrain......some of us aren't natural orienteers!

fthfl stwrd rudy: ain't that the truth.

i didnt run this morning either. you are right, there are times when walking is entirely appropriate, in my book a) when legs are cooked b) in a beautiful natural setting c) to keep somebody else company d) cause your gear is too heavy to run with. Kudos on your 50-60 miles a week - you've got what it takes and I am looking forward to hearing about your upcoming run!

and, you are right again, there is no walking club:)
